Yeleusinov and Dychko took silver medals at the World Cup

Captain of Kazakhstan boxing Daniyar Yeleusinov acting in the weight category up to 69 kilograms, lost the final match of the world championship in Doha (Qatar) and could not defend his title.

In the final fight Yeleusinov met with the second number of the tournament Mohammad Rabiya from Morocco. In the first round all the judges gave the victory to the Moroccan boxer. The second part of the battle Rabia won with the same score and practically secured the win.

The last round Kazakh boxer won with a score of 2: 1, but that could not possibly affect the outcome of the fight, which ended with the score 3: 0 (29:28, 30:27, 29:28) in favor of the Moroccan. Thus, after the victory at the World Championships in Almaty in 2013, Yeleusinov won the silver medal of the world championship in Qatar.

However reaching the final of the World Cup in Qatar brought the captain of Kazakhstan Olympic license to Rio 2016.

Ivan Dychko in the final lost to Frenchman Tony Yoka. It is worth noting that 25 years old Dychko became the bronze medalist of the world championship 2011 in Baku and the silver medal in Almaty 2013. He is also a bronze medalist of the 2012 Olympics in London.
