Changes in the coaching staff of KazakhstanWrestling Federation16 june
The coaching staff of Kazakhstan national team in freestyle wrestling has changed. The ex-coachRuslanUmralieva was succeeded by Sergei Beloglazov.
RuslanUmraliev led the national team of Kazakhstan for past three years, from 2012. During this time wards of Umraliev participated in various competitions, including the Asian Games, continental and world championships and other international competitions. Good results our team has achieved under the leadership of RuslanNarimanovich at the Asian Games in Incheon, where just three Kazakhs fought in the decisive battle for gold medal.
At Asian Championship in 2014, national team of Kazakhstan won 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals, which let us get third placein overall standings.
The national team of Kazakhstan was quite unsuccessful on 2015 continental championship (in the bank of our "wrestlers" was only one medal won by DauletNiyazbekov).
Ruslan Umraliev twice led our team to the world championships (2013-2014). Unfortunately, wrestlers in Budapest and Tashkent couldn’t get any awards.
New mentor of wrestling national team Sergei Beloglazov was the outstanding wrestler in the past (two-time winner of the Olympic Games, six-time world champion, five-time winner of the European championships) from October 2014 worked at the national team’s headquarters as a coach and consultant.
Right now members of the national team of Kazakhstan under the leadership of Sergei Beloglazov are conducting one of preparation stages for the World Championship license (September 6-12, Las Vegas, USA).
